I can publish the game in Studio, everything functions as intended. In Play Solo, I am playing the new updated version of the game. If I reopen studio, it is still the correct version.
However, playing the game through the website/server, it is still stuck on an older version. This is particularly annoying as there is a bug I’ve fixed but it won’t update the real servers.
To show the issue, I added a part onto the baseplate in Studio and published the game:
I’m not sure what to do. It’s been like this for 30 minutes!
Yes, it’s the right game I’m publishing to, if I click “see live error reports” in the studio output it takes me to the correct game on the create page.
Yes, I have published and not saved.
Yes, this is a new server and not an old one (I just shutdown all the servers after 20 minutes but it still won’t do anything).
Happened to me aswell a few months ago, the only work around I found is saving the game as a file , opening it and publishing it again , however I don’t think that would work for your game since it would create another experience , although I think you can override experiences (if not then my bad).
where some versions don’t get the “Published” checkmark and thus the live game is never updated, even though I published that version from studio and it is that version I am opening up.
