Cannot upload UGC, getting vague validation errors

When attempting to upload UGC, I’m getting this error:

RobloxStudioBeta_x6ISTexCzr

“Found the following instance tags which are not allowed” is erroring on every single otherwise valid instance in my accessory. Nobody else I know is getting these errors. How do I resolve this?

Please provide a screenshot of how the accessory is setup

It’s as the error describes

RobloxStudioBeta_1NAu1vwft8

How did you set this up? Did you use the asset creator plugin?

I have my own in-house plugin my studio uses (which works fine), but just in case I used the asset creator plugin as well, and when that didn’t work I tried a couple others.

I’m having this same issue as well. After trying a bunch of things, I asked a friend for help.

I sent the .obj and .png of the hat to my friend, who converted it into a hat, and sent it back to me as an .rbxm. However, despite working for him, when I tried to upload it I got these same instance tags errors again. I then asked another friend to try uploading the hat from the rbxm he sent, and it worked without errors for them, despite being the same exact hat.

I also tried sending the original hat I made to someone as an rbxm, except this time they did receive these instance tags errors.

I’ve tried different places as well, but it did not resolve my issue.

Apologies for bumping this but I just spent 3 hours trying to figure this out and I don’t want others to spend so long as well.

Make sure to check the tags section in the properties of all the parts mentioned, as some plugins will apply tags to some instances. If there are tags, make sure to delete them.

I hope this helped some people
