Amazon is having issues
Can confirm, my analytics are going crazy with reports about requests being rejected.
Edit: Also getting errors with marketplaceservice.
We are aware of the issues with DataStores and the website. We are working hard to fix these as quickly as possible.
It’s too bad there’s not a emergency backup, this is the second time within a week Amazon had a meltdown and it caused disastrous effects to those on ROBLOX and many devs loosing profit. One of my pals spent R$10k down in-game only to have it go ??? and lose everything (rip 10KR$)
Usually AWS is really reliable… It’s not just ROBLOX Developers that will lose profit, lots of websites that rely on it will also be affected. They’ll have it back up soon though. This all comes with the territory, there’s bound to be technical glitches down the road. Friendly reminder not to start complaining about Robux profit losses unless it’s an actual problem like anon80475429’s friend claimed.
That is a issue of the developer. The developer should first save the data, and check or the data has been saved before returning PurchaseGranted.
It doesn’t matter if money gets refunded. That behavior isn’t explained anywhere. As far as the user is aware you stole money from them and roblox gave it back.
