Each time I try to update the group icon, it fails with error code 400
This happens with absolutely any group
Expected behavior
Group icon should be able to get updated

You probably just don’t have permission to do that. The error messages leave much to be desired.
Yeah except I made and own the groups and anything else works but updating the icon
You didin’t specify that.

Thanks for the report! I filed a ticket in our internal database.
Hello @LvieReal , I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Can you provide a link to the group/community you’re trying to update?
It’s no longer happening, you’re late
During that time it happened to every group I own on this account
It’s happening to me. On the SpawnpointRBX (group owner) account but it doesn’t let me edit the group icon. “Unable to update group icon”

Edit: This is what is showing in the network response. I’m pretty sure I clicked and uploaded an image but it’s saying I haven’t!
Hello @ZweiForgot, we’re unable to replicate the issue at the moment using the Firefox browser as you mentioned. It’s possible there may have been a client side issue that may have been fixed since. Does the issue still happens for you?
I can’t reproduce this, group icons can be changed. I tried it on multiple browsers.
It still doesn’t work for me but a workaround I found is to use the group API page to change it
I’m glad you found a work around that works for you!
I attempted to reproduce this issue on Firefox and Chrome but I was able to change my icon on both browsers with no issue.
The error “The community icon is missing from the request” indicates that your browser request did not send the file along with it’s request. This could be an issue with your browser setup, perhaps try it on a different computer/browser and see if that works for you or just continue to use the API.
