Alright, so when I go in studio and use TextLabel to make UI shops, I double click the name and it doesn’t work. I don’t know how to fix it, but I need it to make UI shops for someone. I can’t figure out how to record it.
Please help!
Edit: Now I can’t move any UIs.
You can change the “Name” property. And double clicking does not work because it’s a single click while the object is selected, if you double click it doesn’t work, I’ve noticed.
You can press F2 while the object is selected. Then you should be able to change the name.
That was the first thing I tried. Didn’t work.
That doesn’t work either. I just tried it.
Try right clicking the object, then pressing rename.
Try going to the properties window, and change the “Name” property.

Is the rename button grayed out when you right click it?
I can’t even click it to move it, and yes.
And is whole text label grayed out?
Nope, not really tho. And what do you mean by that?
If the whole text label instance in explorer is normal or grayed out.
are you attempting to make the change while the game is running ?
if so you are probably changing the starter gui and not player gui
But client can change starter gui. Another thing is, that it isnt replicated to server.
No, I am not doing it while the games running.
Its normal, and what else should I tell you?
Have you tried restarting studio?
