Can't click on a mention if someone changes their username

Just noticed this bug when I was looking back on a previous topic.

The user @Ty_Scripts (sorry for the ping) changed their username from Ty_IsHomeSchooled to Ty_Scripts.

In a previous post, I mentioned their username before they changed it.

I notice now that when you click on the mention, their profile won’t show up since they’ve changed their username:

I’ll be honest I had no idea that when I exported the audio it made it so loud. Thanks for letting me know, I’ll see if I can fix them (also thanks to @Ty_IsHomeSchooled since I see that they said it too)

Changing username invalidates any previous mentions of the old username

In this post, you can see the mention/link for @colbert2677 at the end is still active despite leading to a 404 page. This user changed names after the post was made and is now @lesserfantasy, invalidating any mentions of the old name. I also noticed that the URL of profile pages for DevForum users contains the user’s name rather than, say, their Roblox user ID. Is there any awareness of this minor issue, and if so are there any intentions to fix it?

This is intentional, since it isn’t based on their devforum ID or anything, just the name.
