Can't create a group experience

I’m trying to create a group game, but whenever I create one it puts my profile as the creator and not the group.

I first tried using the “Publish To Roblox As” to transfer a game to the group, but it puts it under my profile. Another method I tried was going to the “Create” tab → “Group” → “Create new experience” but the same thing happens.

I’ve had no trouble making group games before so I don’t know if this is a bug or I’m doing something wrong. I now have 6 games under my profile that I can’t delete which is pretty annoying. Thanks!

edit: It also happens with another group.

Go to the Roblox Home page and click create. You should see your creations there, and a button that says Group Creations. Click Group Creations and click “Create A New Experience”.

I found this outdated image online. Do you see where it says Group Creations? Is that option just not appearing for you or what?

Yes but I’ve tried this like 3 times. I go to the create tab, group creations, (my group), create new experience.

By “Publish to Roblox As” I assume you mean setting the creator in there to the desired group. If that’s the case I’m not sure. If it isn’t, then try that.

I believe that it won’t work until you go in studio and go to Game Settings>Permissions, and you can give your group ownership of the game from there.

That is incorrect! Once you publish a game you are prompted with these settings:

That’s only for unpublished games, and mine is already published.

Why don’t you just publish your game as a model and then move it to an unpublished game?

That might work if I could actually create a game under the group in the first place lol. Every game I create under the group moves to my profile. I also tried it with another group same problem.

I finally got it to work! I have no clue what was happening, maybe clearing my cookies was the solution. I did it the normal way but for some reason it worked this time. Now I’m left with useless games…

I know this is an old post but I dont want to make a duplicate and this is happening to me now for the past few weeks. I cant make a group game under any circumstance, it keeps putting them under “My Creations”, ive been on this platform since 2007 so I know how to make one. Deleting my cookies didnt help.

It’s actually very simple to fix this. You open Roblox Studio and create a new game under the New then press Baseplate. Once it gets opened File → Publish to Roblox → Creator → Then the group you want to publish it under. It may take moments for it to update. Eventually It will publish under the group.

EDIT: If it doesn’t make sure to try redoing the steps or press “Refresh” in the top right under “My Games” and reopen Roblox Studio a couple times.
