I don’t think you can transfer ownership of a game
That is incorrect! Once you publish a game you are prompted with these settings:

Why don’t you just publish your game as a model and then move it to an unpublished game?
That might work if I could actually create a game under the group in the first place lol. Every game I create under the group moves to my profile. I also tried it with another group same problem.

Yea but the whole problem is that I can’t create a game under the group, even with that way.
Can you show me screenshots of your process?
I finally got it to work! I have no clue what was happening, maybe clearing my cookies was the solution. I did it the normal way but for some reason it worked this time. Now I’m left with useless games…

I know this is an old post but I dont want to make a duplicate and this is happening to me now for the past few weeks. I cant make a group game under any circumstance, it keeps putting them under “My Creations”, ive been on this platform since 2007 so I know how to make one. Deleting my cookies didnt help.

It’s actually very simple to fix this. You open Roblox Studio and create a new game under the New then press Baseplate. Once it gets opened File → Publish to Roblox → Creator → Then the group you want to publish it under. It may take moments for it to update. Eventually It will publish under the group.
EDIT: If it doesn’t make sure to try redoing the steps or press “Refresh” in the top right under “My Games” and reopen Roblox Studio a couple times.

Same thing is happening for me, that is not coming up for me at all - so I am at a loss.
I have many groups, so it should show them, right?
First, you need to create a group experience.
Secondly, you must open game settings and change the creator of the game.
Note: Once you publish your game(by clicking the blue create button on the bottom left), you can no longer change who owns the game.
Tell me if it still doesn’t work.

I know this is a very old thread but this issue is happening to me now. These settings are not working, it’s greyed out and says “Owner”. NONE of these solutions or the ones i found online work. I cannot publish my game into my group. HELP ME!!!
I need this game to be under the ownership of my group, not me personally. Please help.

Group Creations>Create Group Experience
Once in studio:
Game settings>Permissions
Then select your group as the owner of the game.
Tell me if the problem consists.
(Notice: You can’t make it a group experience after the game is published)
