Can't edit the "Appearance" property of an object in the properties tab

Howdy

A strange bug has popped up recently for me where I cannot edit the “Appearance” property of an object or surface appearance.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced or is experiencing this issue and know a possible fix, because this is frustrating!

(Details - I try to click the property to drop it down however it wont budge.)

I have tried reinstalling studio to see if the issue would be resolved. No success.

Thanks for your time,
Shark.

Wasn’t Appearance what the texture was on the old weld/glue/stud Parts?
Roblox announced a while ago that they were deprecating that.

I know just a few weeks ago I had an old place with Parts with those properties on it and they were still visible, but if I set them all to None (no texture) the Appearance dropdown did just as you said.

If you need this you may be able to find an old Model in the toolbox with those textures on the Parts. You may be able to copy them and use them that way.
Either that or get the textures and place them on the Parts instead of using the Appearance.

These are recently created parts/meshes (imported yesterday) so i doubt they would have any deprecated variables.
