Can't expand fold if previous fold is collapsed

I cannot expand a fold in a script if the previous fold is collapsed. Expanding the previous fold allows the target fold to be expandable again. “Expand All Folds” works just fine. Is this supposed to be intended behavior? Studio for Mac.

This happens to me in Windows 10. There was another thread made about this recently, too.

A workaround right now is to put your text cursor at the end of the line and press enter. It will expand the fold without making any changes.

Yeah, there’s a number of workarounds, it would save some trouble if they could fix this though. Sorry if I’ve made a duplicate thread, I haven’t actually seen any other ones about this issue. I’ve been getting this problem for a while and only figured out the specific cause/pattern today.

This is a known issue. Thanks for reporting it though, more reports never huts!
