So i am new to blender
today when I tried to export some files into the blender it won’t allow me to do it

You have to select “Import”, not “Export”—by selecting Export, you are saving your blender file to the .obj file and thus overwriting it by replacing the previous file (which you definitely don’t want to be doing)
Import means in, export means out

Also, I highly recommend using the latest version of blender. (Trust me, it’s better and it’s easy)
