I want to get rid of the outlines from the Meshparts textures. I’ve tried redesigning the texture multiple times, but it still has outlines. Surface GUIs worked, but it caused a lot of lag and an FPS drop. I am stumped and I am unsure how to go at this so I am seeking DevForum help.
Can you pose the texture and the uv map of the mesh?
I think this may be a case of uv bleed! try coloring outside the lines of your uv map!
This is the texture that I have been trying to get to work. I’ve edited it so many times yet it hasn’t worked.
Stretch the edge of the texture towards the edges of the image so that the entire space is filled with color
That is texture bleeding, you always want the texture to expand more than the UV map itself so when it renders the edges it won’t show those strange outlines,
Try this texture, I i did a quick adjustment of the texture where it expands a bit further
It shows orange lines; if I look closely at the block, it also has white lines.
Orange:
Light Green:
can you show what your UV map looks like over the texture?
The only orange lines Im seeing are these
and I think thats just roblox rendering acting funky…
as for the green lines…
do you think that it comes from the light green lines on the texture itself?
I edited @Blizzei 's version, see what this does
yeah thats what i’m starting to suspect too honestly, if the uv map covers that little area there’s going to be some texture inconsistencies
Yeah, it worked. However, there are still the orange lines, and I am going to rule those out as a Roblox issue because I’ve gone through multiple edited versions of the same image, but this one works the best. Thank you so much.
