Can't Launch Roblox Game Client on Brand New PC

The Roblox game client will not launch. My PC is brand new, and everything else I have done works fine. Studio loads and operates properly. When launching a game, I see the following:

Then I see:

This has been typical for about 6 years now. However, the difference is, nothing else happens. Yes, it is installed. Yes, I have reinstalled it many times and rebooted my PC. Yes, Windows is up to date.

Usually, at this point, Roblox would load the game. Nope, nothing. I have tried many searchable fixes with absolutely no luck. Anyone else having this issue?

Hello, Roblox is currently experiencing a connectivity issue. To launch Roblox, this is not a problem with your computer. You may be able to change your computer’s DNS while waiting for your issue to be resolved. Roblox is currently working on this issue!

Status.Roblox does not note any connection issues. This is strange.

I have the exact same issue on my brand new PC aswell, Roblox studio works fine but roblox only opens up in task manager for half a second before disaapearing. Did anyone manage to resolve it yet?

Is there a chance it does not open? Or does it not open at all?

I am encountering the same issue. I’ve tried countless methods including downloading it through the microsoft store. Could it be something with Robloxs anticheat because I have made sure theres no anticheat software on my computer that could be interfering.

checking client logs I get a “Critical [FLog::DesktopInstaller] failed to start client App:” due to error code 0 every time

I solved the issue by reinstalling windows entirely and uninstalling any antivirus on the computer afterwards. Then, and only then, did I log into roblox and download the installer.

Hello, reinstalling Windows is not a solution for me. Any problem can be effectively fixed. Our Roblox engineers could have fixed your issue. Right now, there are only technical issues on Roblox. You must have had a connectivity problem or the version was not official. If Windows firewall is the issue, it should be added to the exclusions to avoid further problems. For any future issues, there is Logs / crash dumps / other bug files - Developer Forum | Roblox.

The issue is resolved now. I went to sleep and it’s somehow fixed itself.

Most people experiencing this issue have an error code 0 in their log file. Which literally tells us nothing
