I use the middle mouse button all the time to open stuff in a new tab, and I also happened to use that to open a new “People” tab to search for people/groups. However, now we have this handy search bar to use! Unfortunately, when I type in “insertnamehere”, and I get Search “insertnamehere” in People, Search “insertnamehere” in groups, etc, I can’t middle mouse click those results (and ctrl+click doesn’t work either – no way to open a new tab from those), so I have to click, and then middle mouse click the back button to get two tabs.

</div>
</div>
That’s the HTML code, no attribute to be seen. That’d be where the issue lies.
Middle click takes me to the link in the current tab.
What browser are you using, and what did you click?
Nevermind, it must have been a fluke. I probably accidently left clicked.
If you’re using Google Chrome there is a cool extension called Smooth Gestures. I recommend picking it up. You can set several mouse gestures to do different things like open a new tab, close open tabs, open links, open link in new tab, go back a page, go forward a page, stuff like that.
You hold right click and drag to do it, I love it.
In OSX, you can hold Command while left clicking and it opens it up in a new tab. Windows probably has the same thing with Control.
