Can't open a localy saved roblox file (Or I am doing something wrong)

Pretty simple, I saved my experince to a Local File and now I want to open it.

I have tried double clicking on it and when it asks me what I want open the file with I press Roblox Studio. Doing this will open up Roblox Studio but the place will not be opened, which I find strange. I tested with multiple past saved files and none of them worked

According to my computer the file type is “Roblox Place”

If anyone could help please do!

My roblox studio won’t open at all, not sure if it’s related, but their client-settings cdn seems to be failing: { "userFacingMessage": "Something went wrong" }

Looks the same for me, visiting that website shows an error in JSON:

There seems to be something going on with the servers, I personally am not having any of these issues, using the most up to date version of studio, but the DownDetector indeed shows there is something going on.

As of posting this, the official Roblox status page doesn’t say anything about any problems.

I noticed serval people having this issue, might contact them to see what’s going on.

I am having these problems as well. One thing I find strange is that it’s a very small minority of people with the problem, unlike most outages that affect a wide swathe of the population.

I simply fixed my problem by reinstalling studio, but I never got any error messages trying to open the file
