EDIT: It’s a problem with nvidia (can’t play any other games when this happens)
Driver is up to date. Windows 10. Nvidia driver:
Currently have an old studio window open from 24 hrs ago. Can’t open a new studio window, can’t play any roblox games, even though I did both of these fine just a couple hours ago.
This has happened twice over the last couple days.

Temporary fix:
restart computer (closing studio won’t work. roblox is broken until restart.)

I haven’t been having the problem, and I do have the latest driver for my GTX 1070 (laptop non-MaxQ). Have you tried unistalling the driver with DDU and re-installing the driver?
Edit: Some sources say it is a bad driver. It claims to be resolved with Hotfix 397.55. I remember having this type of problem at one point with Minecraft where a Hotfix driver fixed the problem.
I’ve been having a similar issue on other games and my Nvidia card, it seems to be an issue with the most recent update of the driver software for me. Updating it should make it work for a bit before you need to update it again, as it seems version 397.31 (4/25/18) has some issue with it that makes you reinstall it every 24 hours or so. Hopefully, by now they’ve fixed the issue, but who knows. Basically, it’s probably an issue with your driver software and not on Roblox’s end. If you’re unable to find a way to solve it, you should probably look at the Nvidia forums for more detailed technical help.
This is a really annoying issue, latest (according to GeForce Experience) drivers are installed, and from one moment to the other (even closing a Roblox game and opening a new place) can suddenly cause Roblox to decide my drivers are unusable.
