I just decided to go onto the forums, and was greeted by this lovely message:
Yeah I read up on the situation, but wow. Over 70% of the accounts on roblox were made after 2015, and now none of them can post because of a few people.
Why not just increase the floodcheck per post?
Going to an extreme when dealing with internet trolls is just going to end up provoking more trolls, I just don’t want this to be a regular thing every time the forums get spammed.
I think a lot of people are actually pretty ok with this update. 700 days exactly is pretty specific, though. Why do you have that message and not some other message that says 450 hours, since you’re actually less than three weeks from being 700 days old?
They could just make it 1 week. That would be great. Most people still on after a week will stick around longer (I think). I’m sure they’ve got analytics to adjust that properly though.
