When I try to send a friend request both in-game and on the website, nothing happens, but I can receive friend requests just fine.
On the website, when I send a friend request or favorite, it shows as pending or favorited until I refresh the website, then it returns back to default.
In the app/in-game nothing happens when I click the “add friend” button.

Try to send a friend request inside your browser and inspect the network / console logs and send them there…
