Can't turn off VR mode, most likely causing my Roblox player to keep crashing

I want to turn off VR mode in Roblox player, as it is most likely causing me to crash at random intervals

  1. What is the issue? Include screenshots / videos if possible!

Everytime I turn VR mode off in settings, it says “off (restart pending)” I’ve restarted roblox, my pc, everything, and it keeps automatically turning back on. I also went in the files and turned it off from the GlobalBasicSettings. It still automatically turned back on when I joined a new game.

  1. What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Developer Hub?

I uninstalled everything Oculus and Oculus related, yet nothing seems to work. I also tried looking for a specific DLL file that supposedly is causing the issues, but it wasn’t there, and yet issues are still occuring.

The only “solution” I found was using the Microsoft app, though it does have a large impact on my performance.

I was about to answer with the GlobalBasicSettings fix but holy cow, i’ve never seen something like this. Have you tried rinstalling the game?

Yes I’ve tried reinstalling, but it hasn’t had any effect yet. I launch through Bloxstrap if that helps in any way, just forgot to put it in my original post.

Im having the exact same problem. I personally use steamvr tho, I have tried almost everything i tried putting -novr by adding roblox to steam and putting it in properties, didnt work.
I have personally had this problem every since they added the setting to disable roblox vr.
