I am using a nordic keyboard layout, this requires me to press Alt + ¨ to get the ~ key. Since studio has shortcuts that use the alt key, which also unfocus the script editor after pressed, I can no longer type the tilde key when editing scripts in studio. I can no longer type “~=”, which I do probably every 10 lines on average. I have to copy and paste it from somewhere else.
Not sure how to solve this, maybe the script editor just shouldn’t lose focus when pressing certain keys?
Same happening to me. I don’t know since when, haven’t used studio in a while. I need to do altgr and a key that contains +, = and ~, but pressing altgr acts like pressing alt, e.g. it does shortcut stuff.
I’m assuming you’re referring to the pale yellow boxes that appear when hitting Alt. If so, there are plans to remove those eventually.

The main problem is really that Alt didn’t unfocus the script editor before the upgrade to qt5, but now it does.
I don’t mind the shortcuts.
