Can't upload screen recordings

So basically every time I’ve tried to upload a screen recording (I have a macOS so I use command+shift+5) it shows me this error:

Why do I keep getting this error? Is it because it doesn’t allow that type of file?

It could be because the file you’re trying to upload is too large. I’m not sure what the file limit is for uploading to the forums, but I do know large files tend to never upload, most likely due to a file size limit?

I’m not 100% sure, so take what I said with a grain of salt

On a side note, try shortening the video to only include import parts and/or lower the quality and then try uploading it.

I tried trimming it, and it didn’t seem like there was an option to decrease the quality.

To decrease the quality, you could run it through a video editing/processing software (there are some free ones out there), and when exporting it, just select a lower quality!

It’s a .mov file, correct? Cause I think that whats mac make it into?

I would suggest creating a youtube, streamable, or vimeo account and uploading your video there. It doesn’t take too long, and you can just paste the link in your post.

streamable doesn’t embed properly, I recommend the other two if anything

I almost said that in my post haha. I would also recommend the other two over streamable, however streamable offers an instant upload and is used a lot in the Roblox community, so I figured I’d throw it out there as an option.

Gonna try using vimeo, I’m already starting!
