Today I made a animation and set the ownership of it to myself, however I want to use it inside a group game but can’t find a way to set it’s ownership to the group. Is there a way to change the animation ownership or reupload it without having to animate it again?
Greetings!
In my experience Roblox is wierd like this if doesnt let you mix and match between group and private self creations. Luckily for you can recreate it like a copy and instead of setting ownership to you can set it to the group. It’s the same way you published it the first time just instead of you set it to your group. If you need a tutorial or more details let me know!

That means I have to remake all my already existing animations just to be able to give the group it’s ownership?
No. So you already created it correct is it saved in studio?
Can you put it in the game? Like did you save it as a model to your own inventory?
you are right, I didn’t notice i could open my animations inventory inside studio and get it from there
You should be able to put it in your group game if it’s saved in your inventory. If not do the following
Put the model into the workplace
Left click and click the option where it says publish to Roblox
Then it will bring up the asset page where it says you click your group
Note: if it’s not publish it’s save to Roblox
