During playtest, canvas groups have these three behaviors:
- Renders normally (rare)
- Renders after 10-20 seconds (uncommon)
- Never renders (common)
This started happening a few days ago. There is more than enough RAM and processing power, so there shouldn’t be a reason that it’s not rendering. This is only happening in studio at the moment.
Specs:
11th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-11370H @ 3.30GHz 3.30 GHz
16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Windows version: 24H2
Beta features: Dragger QOL Improvements, Incremental typechecking and autocompletion in studio.
Expected behavior
Canvas groups render as normal.

Hi, do you mind attaching a repro file that contains the number of CanvasGroup with their configured size that is used in your game’s UI? Also could you check what is the graphics setting in your in-game settings menu(the menu shows up after clicking the tilted roblox icon) when you test with play solo?

Hey, thanks for the response.
My render quality in studio is set to automatic, and my graphics quality is set to 5 in-game. However, there are quite a few canvas groups scattered around the map, so that may be the culprit (I’m estimating around 80 canvas groups at a time, which is quite a bit).
I’ve shot you a PM since I can’t reproduce the issue and so I’m sending the entire game file.
