Car importing doesnt come out right

The Building Support sub-category is intended for all development support relating to architecture on the Roblox platform. This includes questions ranging in difficulty from extremely basic to even the most technical of issues.

You may present your thread how you choose, but you are required to answer the following questions in your thread;

  • What are you attempting to achieve? (Keep it simple and clear) I want to import a car model into Roblox. The exact.
  • What is the issue? (Keep it simple and clear - Include screenshots/videos/GIFs if possible) Every time I import, It’s only like 1 piece, It’s sometimes the brakes, pedals, or wheels.

  • What solutions have you tried so far? (Have you searched for solutions through the Roblox Wiki yet?)
    I did the Bulk importing method, but it is the same issue. I’m not sure if the car tri is ruining it, because it has 62k tri and I don’t think I can lower it much without ruining the car look.

You may then include any further details.

The faces are probably inverted on the mesh,

  1. Go onto blender click on viewport overlay

  2. Find and Press face orientation

  3. Select the red faces and go to the mesh tab

  4. Find normalize and press flip.
    I hope that was the problem you had, if still confuse and need visuals here’s a link to a YouTube vid: How to FIX invisible parts of your Roblox mesh! - YouTube

I’m not a good builder but if i have understood you need separated parts (wheels, pedals) from the body, you could try to use separated meshes.

Select all of the meshparts of your car in object mode. Go into edit mode and press A then click
Mesh → Normals → Recalculate outside normals and that will take care of the issue. Also make sure to CRTL + A and click “All transforms”
