Car with Network Owner set to Nil Snaps to Axises

Reproduction Steps
When executing the following code inside a serverscript inside the vehicleseat of a car while testing it in studio, the car snaps to the default X,Y,Z axes when it’s driven close to those orientations.

Expected Behavior
It is expected for the car to not snap to the default X,Y,Z axes, as this snapping behavior upsets the fluidity of the vehicle as well as lifts tires off the racing surface.

Actual Behavior
As seen here, on 4 degrees of banking, the car is snapping to the axes:

However, on a piece that has 19 degrees of banking, the banking is too severe to allow the car to snap to the axes:

Workaround
To test, I must now publish the game and go test via hitting the play button on the game page (“in-game testing” rather than “in-studio testing”)

Thank you for the report, I’m looking into it.

Edit: It should now be fixed, thanks again for the detailed report and videos!

Is the car actually moving in the wrong direction, or is it rotated incorrectly but the velocity is correct?

Judging by the video it seems like a rotation issue.

It’s snapping to orientations like 0, 90, 180 (and their negatives)

Notice how the car when driving up the banking in the 2nd video is parallel with the flat ground (the black area) and the rear wheels lift up in the air. You can also see the front tire is pushing into the ground, as well.

The car is keeping it’s correct directions / velocity. It’s however just taking on an improper orientation, and snapping from close to that orientation into that orientation, which makes driving a lap feel very clunky as you get onto the straightaways, as the car will suddenly snap onto that straight route.

To add to this, here’s a video of the car going around the track.

You can see how the car is snapping in and out of going straight on the straightaways, whereas through the corners it keeps a nicer arc. (The car is not going straight on the straights because I’m purposefully turning it in and out of the snap point. Notice the Throttle/Steer input on the right side of the screen.)
