Hello everyone! I’m Glenticovuh, and I’m trying to get into modeling/building.
Recently, I’ve been interested in making game assets for simulators and basic maps; so I created around 26 total assets, or 52 if you were to include the colored versions.
I was wondering if people liked them, and if anyone would like to buy a copy. I can’t use the RoDev market because I don’t have any type of USD payment set up.
I am not a modeler but these seem way overpriced, I can find fast and easy tutorials to make these. They are worth maybe R$750 or R$1,000 for the colored.
I should have stated that prices are definitely negotiable. I’ve seen some modelers price less work for a heavier chunk of change, and that’s totally on me.
Hmm alright, I still personally wouldn’t pay those prices, so maybe try to find more relatable developer’s prices. Those ones you have seen probably were established developers who get an extra penny for their notability.
reallyyyyy old post i came across doing dev stuffz, but ya know… everything on the internet lives forever so for anyone who stumbles across this. Here’s my 2 cents. Those assets are 100 percent worth 1.6k. That’s penny’s in a bucket when your already a published dev.
The problem is, they are so generic even though your assets may be WORTH 1.6k there is truly no reason to buy them off of YOU specifically for that price. This shows demonstration of technical skill, and might get you in the door to show off your creative ability but as far as a freelance 1 off pieces. eh.
Agreed, with the amount of open sourced resources predominantly low-poly and cartoony style, prices should stay competitive in my opinion as otherwise it drives potential buyers to either look up a tutorial as you said or use one of the countless open sourced game asset packs available.
It’s definitely not a lot of robux in the grand scheme and they look nice but I agree with BaseplateBOT that there’s no real reason to spend that on things so generic and common.
