I can assure you they are not the same height, explain the stiff part

I dont want to add alot of color to the scene, but you’re right about lack of variety. although i will try this out, thanks.
Really nice composition, and large scale landscape. You don’t see that vary often.
My suggestion would be to add some age variation among the vegetation. ie mix of smaller and larger trees
