So I’m making a Casino-Type game, and I made some slot machines. It’s a guaranteed reward each spin, and I have disclosed the percentages on the back of each machine. I’m wondering if I also have to disclose the reward amounts for each, for say, if you get double it doubles the amount of tickets you’d get regularly, and if I’d have to tell the players that or not.
It’s no big deal if I have to though as I can always just make a sign on the side of the machine disclosing the reward amounts, aswell as the percentages on the backs of each machine. I just want to be sure.
Be careful with any form of realistic casino mechanics, as those may be restricted on roblox. Do you plan to make this use currency that can be obtained via robux, or currency only obtained in game?
I would highly recommend reading up on roblox’s rules around lootboxes, as well as on the APIs that need to be used to remain compliant with local laws.
Alright, I’ll try and read up on everything Roblox states on gambling/casino mechanics. And yes, the currency will be purchasable with robux though if I find it’s not allowed then it will only be obtainable in-game.
I know this cannot be true as games like Ben’s Casino are up with almost 10 thousand players.
But I think that their form of slot machines fall under Randomized Virtual Items Policy:
So as long as you are able to use the slot machines free of charge, with a guaranteed reward each time and chances displayed, I believe this is allowed. I do not think you have to display the exact reward amount as nowhere in the Randomized Virtual Items Policy declares it, though, I’m still going to do it just to be safe.
(i’ll mark this as the solution for anybody with this problem in the future)
