Catalog asset information never loads

No catalog item will load information such as the price, name, and if it is actually available for purchase.

This is what I’ve found:

  • Avatar page fails :x:
  • Inventory fails :x:
  • Catalog fails :x:
  • Group store fails :x:
  • Trading loads :white_check_mark:
  • Transactions load :white_check_mark:

Reproduction steps:

  1. Go to a hat (example)
  2. Attempt to view information on the asset
  3. Then realize that the entire catalog is not loading (video)
  4. And now realize your inventory never loads either (video)

This happens on any account of mine, as well as with all extensions, adblockers, security, etc, disabled.

Expected behavior:

The asset name, seller, cost, and other data should load fairly quickly.
And yes, the catalog and inventory should load as normal.

Actual behavior:

Only the comments load. Reseller and price history data may load when specially told to retry. I can confirm that this happens on Roblox Limiteds, UGC Limiteds, and other basic roblox items. No slots or even categories on inventory load, and the catalog is stuck loading any asset.

It started to work again!

All errors I showed have went away.

I’ll see in a few days if it is still fixed, I believe adding a limit to buying UGC items (or all items) may have fixed this.
