"Catching Snowflakes" face extremely small for some reason

The “Catching Snowflakes” Face, looks extremely odd on a character’s head, this is because it’s very small in comparison to most other faces, especially other faces of the same style, like the Super Super Happy Face, the Prankster face, and a few more.

Expected behavior

To fix this, you could simply scale the face to 115% ( which I have done in the picture below ), it immediately looks a lot more like the other Roblox faces of this style.

Scaled Up Version: https://create.roblox.com/store/asset/134841174917921

Here is a comparison.

I’m wondering if this is intended and/or perhaps something some people rely on for their avatar? Ideally, if people do rely on this for their avatar, it shouldn’t be updated to keep backwards compatibility.

All the people I know that own or owned the face mostly dislike it and trade it off pretty quickly because of how small it is.

While it might be true that a few ( but like, really a few ) avatars might be slightly affected, it’d only affect a very small number of people in a significant way. Even so it’s mostly gonna be a very easy fix for them.

Genuinely curious, how exactly would this be an easy fix? I’d personally be under the assumption that these users would have no way to replicate their avatar since uploading the old version would be violating ToS. However, maybe I’m mistaken here, and there is another way to replicate it?

I’m not trying to be sarcastic here, btw, just genuinely curious.

I believe he meant that, for an easy fix, the employees behind the avatar/design team would have to open the file of the original face, modify its scale, and reupload the new version under the account @Roblox.

@GamingYouTube14 correct me if I’m wrong!

They could just use a different face, edit their avatar a bit to make it work with the new size, or trade it away / sell it and buy another face that suits the avatar better or keep most of the robux and buy a custom UGC face instead that might work better.

I totally understand what you’re saying, but even if this were to negatively impact a few characters, again, there are tons of options for them, especially since the new accessory resize update which might add a few more choices too, like slightly edit the sizing of certain accessories.

I think @Abcreator meant about the few people whose avatars might be slightly affected by the face being scaled up a bit.

For Roblox, Yes, it would be extremely easy to fix, just scaling it up to 115%.

This should not be changed, a big stylistic change should not be pushed for an avatar item that regularly sells for 30 Thousand Robux.

Fair enough, understand what you’re concerned about here but:

I’ve seen tons of rich users, traders or owners of the item saying that if it was better sized, it could sell better or just work better with most avatars

Thank you for flagging this. We will not be making any updates on this Face, as this was the original intended look. Also, there are many users who like the Face the way it is.
