I’m an active developer and I’m currently having a problem with my account’s ID verification. A few years ago, I had to verify my account using my father’s ID for getting verified badge on Roblox. Now that I have my own legal ID, I need to update this information to match my actual identity. I’ve tried reaching out to Support multiple times, but I keep receiving automated responses that didn’t help at all.
Please let me know, how am I able to change my ID in this situation. Thanks!
Oh, it’s impossible; once you ID verify, you’re locked forever. Just another one of the many issues that come when you take people’s ID and faces.

No you didn’t, you should have waited until you could verify with your own ID. There’s nothing you can do about it now!
Roblox has said that they’ll be implementing a way to hopefully undo this sometime soon, so stay tuned I guess

that’s facial check, i don’t think roblox will do anything about id checking, it’s been the same for around 4 years
I’d say there’s probably a chance of losing it, so you’ll have to decide whether the verified mark or being in the correct age group is more important to you. It’s cool that they added a way to undo this though!
