Changing the Group Name

Hello developers,

I recently transferred ownership of my group to a holder account but didn’t realize that doing so would trigger a 90-day waiting period before I can change the group name. Unfortunately, changing the name is extremely urgent for me, and waiting 90 days isn’t an option.

I want to contact ROBLOX Support, explain the situation, and provide any necessary evidence, to request an exception to this 90 days rule

Do you think Support will even reply to such a request and make an exception for me?

just wait the 90 days unless your group name is like extremely offensive

They will reply but it’s highly unlikely for them to change the name given the fact that it’s not offensive or breaking any ToS.

You can contact Roblox Support, however since you willingly transferred the group and your account wasn’t compromised at the time Roblox is very unlikely to help you in this situation.

They don’t really make exceptions for this type of thing unless the original group name breaks the rules or contains PII.
