Changing the Normals on Avatars and Accessories in blender to make a pseudo shader

First Post

  1. What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!

So in blender you can adjust the normals of the vertices, doing this allows for a different look than the 3d standard lighting that you see in roblox, it makes avatars and accessories look more cartoonish, I am having trouble figuring out if this is a issue with Roblox Policies or if attempting this task is okay

  1. What is the issue? Include screenshots / videos if possible!

I want to know if it breaks any rules as I don’t see anyone currently doing this with their models, and I don’t know if roblox would automatically change things with the model on it’s own either

  1. What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Developer Hub?

I have searched and not seen any clear answers I have been able to upload an avatar into studio and cleared the initial avatar check but don’t want to risk uploading as to avoid issues.

I want to learn and understand as much as I can about the marketplace rules so I don’t get in trouble for trying new things. any insight on this would be helpful and appreciated.
