Basically as I said in the title, when I want to increase the size of the terrain brush using the keyboard shortcut, in my case the B key (default one), the terrain cursor cannot be moved anymore. If you try to use any other terrain tools, the cursor just goes to position 0, and it’s impossible to move it anymore until you restart the studio. It can be very annoying since it requires restarting the studio anytime it happens to fix it.
Summary of the steps to reproduce the issue:
Open Roblox Studio terrain.
Use any tool, for example smooth.
While using the tool, press the shortcut to change brush size.
If needed, I have also made a video to see better how to reproduce the issue.
We are reworking the terrain tool from the ground up, and this issue will be fixed or won’t be possible by design in the new terrain tool. We are focusing on the new tool and won’t be fixing this issue in the current one.
Please bear with us while we’re working on it and thank you for the report!
Thanks for your replies. I am very excited to know that this issue will be solved, plus the terrain tool will get an update. This is a double reward, thank you for your work and good luck with it!
