  1. To remove need of that “aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa” type <> and anything inside them.
  2. In some cases it’s required to re-select part. I don’t know yet why tho. If this won’t help then please send red text in console (F9)

Small changes:

  1. All tools are now x3 times more powerfull.
  2. Saws got removed speed stat, and got Saw size stat. If sawed object total volume size is smaller or equal to it, saw will work with 100% damage. Otherwise, damage will get reduced by relative oversize. So if saw size is 10 studs, but you saw 5, 10, 20, 50 stud logs, saw speed will equal to 100%, 100%, 50%, 20% respectively.

Important fixes:

  1. Fixed trees and rocks being unable to be chopped, sawed and etc, due to conflicts with part breaking.
  2. Fixed network issues. Game shouldn’t suffer from ping issues anymore. (10-30 kb/s → 0.1-2 kb/s). I forgot that player can have ping and due to this object updates were stacking a lot. Now they are stack on server, and cleaned versions getting sent to client.
  3. Made tutorial a bit simpler.
  4. Trees now can’t be picked up until you saw them.

I feel like I need to write what’s occuring on my end here.

  1. I did party system. It was insanely hard, but I did it. Now you will be able to play with friends.
  2. While doing it, I broke every other system. And now I"m fixing 7 derevative bugs.
  3. After that, game will finally receive update. After a month.
  4. Prob no Christmas related update. I focus on permanent content more. Mb some snow but not more at least for now.
  5. Development slowed down due to me having dozens of real-life problems and works.

That’s all news for now.

Update v1.0.3 a

This update took me waaaaaaaaay longer than I expected. I had personal problems, and other troubles. But I finally finished it.

Added:

  1. I added parties. Now you can go and play with your friends, or just randoms, without waiting round countdown! Along with that, PlayerList now works. Except for Report button, Roblox don’t allows us to call Report menu. I’ll utilize it as in-game report mechanic then. For inapopriate builds, for example.
  2. I have decided to add seasons. Now, game will automatically understand when winter, spring, summer and autumn should occur. Resources on lobby change depending on season! Right now is winter, and you can go get snow and ice :snowman_with_snow:!
  3. Game modifiers now give some boosts, and also shown on game startup.

Fixed:

This list will be really big now, cuz this time I took all problems more seriously:

  1. Crafting saw is fixed
  2. Object damaging is fixed
  3. Fire is fixed
  4. Fire extinguisher is fixed
  5. Split event is fixed
  6. Bombs is fixed
  7. Sounds are fixed
  8. Status effects are fixed
  9. RockSpawn and TreeSpawn should be fixed, but that’s not guaranteed. If your game stopped on them, tell me that!
  10. Blacksmith shop is fixed
  11. Duplication glitch is fixed
  12. Fixed some furniture glitches

Plans:

  1. I still want to make objects functional.
  2. I want to add more events but have not alot of ideas. FEED ME WITH THEM!!!

Small update:

  1. Fixed rock cracks (now instead of cracks mesh they have textured ones)
  2. Fixed bombs - they now won’t stop game if object in their explosion AOE is already destroyed, added “delay” to bomb damages - so no that intense lags will be possible
  3. Fixed building with stone - before, building with it gave non-existant material, which was used for diffirent purpoices. Now that error is fixed.
  4. Added a lot of new events (The whole ONE! XD). It will give a lot of money and experience, but it harms islands alot.

Update v1.0.4 a

Another update which took me really alot of time. Mostly because it was really complex! In terms of client-server verifications.

Added:

  1. Added lobby plot. So you now shouldn’t worry that much about not being able to smelt ores during round - return with them to lobby and do everything there! :house_with_garden:
  2. I made chairs functional :slightly_smiling_face:
  3. Now building uses material by 0.001 measurement strictly. So no 24.99999921571571 materials anymore! :brick:
  4. Added Orbital Strike event - watch out for it! :artificial_satellite:
  5. Added materials which for now obtainable only from lobby plot, but will be obtainable later in more ways.

Fixed:

  1. Character can die now during round.
  2. Material Swap now corrcetly swaps materials.
  3. Experience and money multipliers now give decimal amount of corresponding currency. They are displayed as floored value though, and gived in the same way (so if you received 39.8 pentons during round, and died, you will get 39 pentons total) This makes multipliers more usefull, cuz most of them are small.
  4. Levels now correctly display what you got.
    .
  5. And also I optimized everything alot!

Plans:

  1. More objects are needed to be functional
  2. I want to add major events which will give septons and can be spent on great items! Althogh, they will change gameplay drastically, similar to start modifiers.
  3. I want to make tools and armors. And food =P
  4. It’s time to begin thinking of marketizing and advertising, so it’s time for devproducts and gamepasses!

If you played game before, and game not loads for you - let me know that! Lobby plot required completely new saving system!

It looks good but there are a few issues:

Firstly, I’m playing right now, After the loading screen you’re stuck like this:

I tried rejoining three times but i’m still stuck here.

These errors may be the root cause of this:

On the positive side, client memory usage is low. It’s under 1000MB which is pretty good, the UI looks really nice. And the loading screen for the time I saw it was aesthetically appealing.

Thanks for error, I noticed it rn too with my error tracking. I’ll fix it rn…

You fixed that, but now there are more bugs…

Also you can see, my hand is stuck in the air for some reason. The animation should end after I unequipped the tools.

If its a case of “working sometimes, doesn’t work other times” use pcalls to make sure it doesn’t error.

But it should be working all the time so i’m not sure why its running into an error

No, it’s more of a problem “This bug not critical so I can fix it a bit later”.
I can’t fix it rn due to the fact that I’m preparing to tomorrow’s highschool.
But I will when I’ll free!

Animation issue and saw issue got fixed. Also fixed issue with slot swapping and tool unequipping.

Happy 1st March! Winter has been ended, and ice is not longer obtainable from lobby :slightly_frowning_face:! But still obtainable if you have ice/snow parts placed on your islands with events.

But as compensation, really game-changing update will come out today (or tomorrow, depending on testing speed.)

Testing passed, and I present you…

The v1.0.5 a update!

I added a lot of game-changing things!

  1. Added 2 new tools. This sounds not as a big gameplay change, but trust me - it changed game cardinally!
  • Linked sword - tool, which can harm other players, and some enemies, which will spawn later.
  • Trowel - tool which places temporary bricks, and helps you survive for MUCH longer! Seek it at the shop!
  1. Added Super events! They alter game that much… that it may instaruin entire round, but in turn they give Septons! Just imagine: half of parts just destroy due to nothing, damage just increases by x1.5, or your spawn pad just accidently gets deactivated! Not all of them are bad though, so find them all out! =D
  2. Added thing which I needed to add long time ago - gamepasses and dev products! You can buy some and show me your support =) Also, they will be tradeable soon. When I’ll enable trading. Need to test more possible duping methods before that.
  3. Now, for the sake of more enjoyability and easing, I did it so resources now can spawn passivelly during round! No events required for them to appear. I hope you will like that ^ - ^
  4. Fixed ton of bugs and glitches:
    Tools were glitchy when interacted
    Object descriptions were not updated correctly
    Trees not showed their cut’s damage.
    Grass not spawning at lobby (made it so good now)
    And many many more!

This time, there’s only 1 plan point: make better anti-cheat. After that, I want to know:

  1. Added Black hole event. It will consume all nearby parts and grow!
  2. Player nicknames got fixed and now show above other players
  3. Parties now keep their colors when joining round/back
  4. Parties will notify you that not all party members died if you try to tp to new round.
  5. Did new tutorial, which is far more understandable by new players than previous.
  6. Added loading screen for rounds.
  7. Fixed self-stabbing with sword.
  8. Added blood tree - it will spawn when you kill other players. YOU!!!
  9. Fixed 2 events: split and material swap.
  10. Fixed round rewarding - no income increase when died fully.
  11. Fixed chat, now it fully supports new trashy TextChatService >:[
  12. Fixed party leaving of 1 member glitching player list.
  13. Fixed out of bounds building.
  14. Fixed out of resources building.

  1. Added anti-cheat!
    In case of you being kicked by it, tell me the reasons in the kick.
    As far as I tested, it not triggerred for regular playing, but there’s always chance that such things will detect you.
