Character Afterimages

What’s Character Afterimages? - Character Afterimages is a system that adds speed afterimages to your character. Speed afterimages are when an object is moving too fast for the eye to track accurately, causing the brain to process images incorrectly, making the object seem to move fast enough to seemingly leave trails.

Welcome to Character Afterimages.

Do you want a trail of the players’ characters to be behind them as they walk, run, or more?
Simply use Character Afterimages. Character Afterimages takes care of all of it!

Cool model tbh. Useful for dashes or dramatic scenes

Thanks. I might add a player walkspeed setting soon too for ninja like games.

It does not work well with R6, unfortunately.

It was mainly @TheOriginalLamp’s work. I do not really want to be credited for a modification of his work! But thanks!

Could you elaborate on what you mean?

This is due to no humanoid of the character.

I don’t know if there is a way I can keep clothing on avatars with this system as the humanoid of your trail is deleted inside of the script code.

Nice model but I think you should elaborate more here and not use the words in your explanation of them

I took this feedback into account.

Is this better for you?

Yeah it’s pretty good now since it has an explanation. By the way (just a suggestion), you could also add the source code to a GitHub repo for easy access

Please uncopylock the game, this allows for easier implementation of this.

Thank you for this great resource.

my only issue is that the afterimages dont use clothing and as someone with a skintone character its very- odd looking- aside from that its amazing!

Yeah, sorry about that.

I delete the humanoid inside of my script therefore it doesn’t load clothing. If you want to edit it to fix and or add stuff, that’s completely fine.

Oh, alright! Thanks for the clarification
