For the past few days, I’ve been trying to achieve something that of a Character Customization system you typically see in anime anime games like Project Slayers. But I’ve been stumped as on where to start.
I’ve attached a screenshot below as an example of what I’ve been trying to achieve.
Project Slayers Character Customization (not by me):
I have noticed in many RPG games the presence of these character customization systems. You can start by creating the basics, such as systems that allow you to change clothing, hair, accessories, and other customization options. If you do not have knowledge of how to create an RGB color wheel system, you can use basic colors for this customization.
An interesting way to enhance these systems is by implementing new customization options, such as choosing tattoos, scars, or other physical characteristics that can make the character even more unique and distinctive. In addition, it is important to keep in mind that these systems can directly impact the player’s immersion since the ability to create a character from scratch and leave it with your face is usually highly valued by fans of this genre of game.
However, it is essential to remember that these customization systems require good planning and organization. It is necessary to define what options will be available and ensure that they are in harmony with the game universe. In addition, it is essential to thoroughly test these systems to identify possible problems and bugs, ensuring that the player experience is not impaired.
