Character model's break when undoing

I’m trying to create characters for a game. Whenever I go to add accsesories and welds, despite the models working fine at first, after being tamperd with, or after just simply undoing a modification, the entire model will break and look corrupted like this:

Once the model undergoes these changes, even If I remove all the weld constraints and re add them back, the model will still stay in this broken state.

The quick fix I have been doing is grabbing a new character model and starting fresh by just copying the assets over. But occasionally I will run into this problem where they break and It becomes very time consuming to fix.

I was wondering if anyone else has had simillar issues and knows a solution to this problem.

I have had this is before – an was actually the simplest thing for me . . .

Your accessorys are most likely anchored!

You cant just select the accessory an just un-anchor it btw! – select the accessory mesh for them :">
