Chat appears to show my name differently in-game

Explanation

I’m really not sure how to really explain this, but over the last few weeks I’ve noticed that at certain times if demofocus is said in game chat, it appears as

{{username:de#######

I’m really not sure how or why this is happening, and from a few tests it seems to only happen to my username, any game I join this issue occurs and it’s really bizarre because it doesn’t seem like it happens to any of my friends.

Video

I took it as a GIF but you can see what happens clearly.

Reproduction Steps

Join any game and type out “hi demofocus a” - it doesn’t seem to happen when the only text is “demofocus” but I’ve been able to reproduce with “hi demofocus a” multiple times.

EDIT: I believe this might only happen when I have joined a server, as someone just tried it when I wasn’t in and nothing happened and I left another place and people could still do it.

Does this happen in all games/places?

I think this is the method of avoiding filtration of names, I’ve noticed some usernames that look like they should be filtered, but saying them in chat doesn’t filter it.

If this is the case, the issue is on Community Sift’s end, the filtering system roblox uses.

It’s fixed for me. I typed it out in chat, and it says “hi demofocus a”. Guess they rolled out a fix.

I’ve noticed it only seems to do it if I’m in or have previously been in that server. Very strange bug.

Sorry for the bump of an old thread, but this is still an ongoing issue.

I guess if you say the name out loud slowly it sounds like a swear so it detects that
