Lately, I’ve been encountering a rather perplexing problem within the Roblox universe. It seems that in certain games, the chat bubbles I rely on to communicate are disappearing at an astonishing rate, while in other games, they work flawlessly as expected.
This strange inconsistency has left me scratching my head, and I’m not alone – discussions are cropping up among players and developers alike, all trying to make sense of this issue. Some theories suggest that it might be tied to specific game scripts or server settings, while others believe it could be connected to updates in the broader Roblox platform. As someone who values smooth communication while gaming, I’m eagerly awaiting a solution to this matter. After all, clear and timely communication is essential for a vibrant and immersive experience in the Roblox universe.
I’ve left a few examples of chat bubbles disappearing quickly (the problem occurring) and examples of it working as intended.
This could be a bug which might only be patched by ROBLOX since ROBLOX servers are usually not that good (I think.). But my suggestions should be to reinstall ROBLOX and or restart your PC.
This isn’t a bug from Roblox, but a setting in the BubbleChatConfiguration in the TextChatService. Tell the developer to change the BubbleDuration to default, which is 15. I can also see that in the video for the long chat bubble, they use the LegacyTextChatService…
I have had the same issue in my game. For most users, bubble chat functions normally, however, a select group of players is constantly reporting this issue. I am not sure what to do because all chat settings seem to be correct.
I’ve been having this same issue, it’s so frustrating!
But someone has told me that factory resetting your computer solves the issues.
It’s an extreme solution, but I thought I’d let you guys know.
Like again it doesn’t seem to be server sided but user sided, I have joined games where the chat scripts are in working order and the problem is specifically my user interface having issues. Since I’ve checked other devices not having a single problem (in the same games) it’s most likely corrupt files or some disturbances in connectivity. I think the easiest solution would be to delete all local files for Roblox and have a deep full reinstall of Roblox or even redownload your OS.
