For some reason chat keeps closing by default when I start a game. Is this an intentional change or a bug? It’s very annoying.
Blame John.
But yeah, I saw that too. To be honest I thought it was a new feature and I kind of liked it.
The only thing I not like about this is if someone talks to me when I join then I not notice it and that happens very often.
This gets in the way with custom chats. The amount of unread messages display when you haven’t chatted yet. This makes no sense if there is a custom chat. Also, I prefer it being open by default. This also happens with the player list too sometimes which is really weird.
Can you please atleast give us the option to the default open/close setting if this is an intentional change? I don’t know why you think this is a good idea but it’s proved annoying for me.
Perhaps this is a good idea to close it by default for 12 and under, however?
Why closed for 12 and under? I am good with a option, but younger players should be able to see it by default too.
I think it should just stay the way it was. There was nothing wrong with it being like that for years, there’s nothing wrong with it now.
Wait, custom chat interference? That’s why we have game.StarterGui:SetCoreGuiEnabled(Enum.CoreGuiType.Chat, false)
That’s excellent if you want to make a custom chat bar, something which a majority of custom chats don’t do
