I was asking that in the context of not having any valid IDs for the verification as I DO have the option to. Like how else am I supposed to verify if I don’t have these IDs? It seems kind of stupid to me.

I feel your pain, I want to verify (Currently 17) but I don’t have my permit or anything like that cause I just haven’t been bothered to do so yet and I really don’t want to ask my parents where my passport is so I can verify my age to an online game.

Not trying to sound rude, but what’s the point of complaining here that you don’t have an ID? You are not entitled to bypass age verification because you lack an ID, so either get one or don’t use VC.

Where is the point of being able to show an identity document for something where you should be able to use it without your identity? Well, I would call something like that, what Roblox is doing and youre saying, official discrimination.
It would be okay if Roblox would limit shit like that to their own country but not internationally and then turn it into discrimination.

Why would expired passports be rejected in this case? Regardless if your passport is expired or not it should be able to prove your age perfectly fine, and yet it still rejects it if it’s expired

Literally just gonna miss out on the whole age verification thing literally just because an expired passport check was implemented into this thing, completely unnecessary and just stops people that made their passports when they were younger to verify their age on roblox. Who even came up with the idea to check for expired passport dates? Like I said before it doesn’t matter if your passport is expired because that is not what’s proving you of being over the age of 13.

I don’t think it changes much, as long as it’s issued by the government and it has your face, name, and Date of birth it should be fine
Sounds cool, but is it only me confused. If I’m right, i read that we cant use it unless we’re eligible? So we cant use it in studio on our own? Please help!

Cause if its expired then its not valid anymore and a expired passport doesnt show in systems. Its not just looking at the age on the paper it actually verifies that the passport was issues by your goverment and is real

What are you talking about. Its a video game where did discrimination play into any of this it would make no sense to only make one country have to use there ID cause it would bypass the whole point of the ID verification.

Unfortunately when I attempted to verify my age with my expired passport it got declined because it was expired. That’s what confused me the most. Like you stated, as long as the passport is issued by the government, has my face, name and date of birth it should be fine however it just gets declined which I believe isn’t necessary to reject expired passports. While what Kelta stated may be true, it’s a bummer that it has to be that way
