Okay! I will update the game to provide a better environment for better gameplay, add things without the toolbox, and more! thank you all for taking your time and giving me constructive criticism
Yes the game is super great. Good building
well he changed it to make the game not on mobile
Oof rip then, cuz I’m on mobile now and I can’t go on my pc
Its very good working with my PC im fine thx.
ill give it a 2-3/10, because the models r free models( well most of them). The trees are laggy as heck. The cars which are meant to be the main part of the game( i guess) do not even work and you can abuse the spawn system like what i just did to spawn alot of cars to make it lag more. And the buildings are just a bit dead. But yea thats my criticism.
I give it 4/10
the teleporter is good but you can’t drive the car.
The vehicle is quite weird-looking. Also, I think you should place walls a bit closer to the terrain so people won’t fall.
Other than that, I loved the idea. I give 3/10.
I’m on my pc , I give it 3/10, game is kinda glitchy
Free models, many free models.
Some critical points I have
- Many of the models seem to be free models from the toolbox.
- Don’t know if it’s just me but I seem to be having problems driving the car (Most likely just me)
- personally, I don’t like the little blur/glow effect that people have on games
- In the lobby starting point many of the decals look stretched
- The colors and materials aren’t that complementary and look out of place
- The in and out zoom distance is set to default showing the sky
- when you spawn into the first map part if you will I personally don’t like the trees decal on the wall.
- (I would make a mountain part to make it look like a border)
- this gap is a bit weird
If I came off as rude sorry but many aspects of the game are out of place and feel weird, I’m assuming you are new to game development and so am I so I’ll give some of the advice that I have learned.
- Try to not use free models: A lot of the time people will notice and it makes the game atmosphere break. What I mean is the style will be different for each part making it feel weird.
- Use complementary colors: meaning colors that match with each other to make it more visually pleasing. Here is a good website to find nice colors: https://www.canva.com/colors/color-wheel/
- Start Small: I’m assuming that you are new so what I recommend is making a small project and mastering that and moving on to bigger projects and that way your skill won’t get in the way of your ambitions.
Apart from these tips, I’d say to keep trying since the majority of feedback on your
game was negative. I recommend watching tutorials from people like The Dev King and Alvin Blox. I’d like to see what you can make so good luck and have a good day/night.
that was pretty long.
I can really only give you credit for 2 things: The game idea and the teleport system.
Even though free models are made to be used, when you’re using a free model for the primary function of the game I think we have some problems. You have a weird mixture of 2D and 3D trees, the “tree wall” doesn’t touch the ground half of the time and the spawn feels very rushed.
It’s a good idea however it just needs more work. If you could enhance on it you’re onto a winner. This game feels very very early access.
I will put the game back when I finish updating it with a much better version!
