Chronophobia - Devlog #1

Chronophobia is a first-person, single-player horror game, similar to games such as ANXIETY or Amnesia.

The game is centred around the idea of time moving on. The aim of the game is to escape the labyrinth/facility/house thing, in the time limit of seven in-game days. There will be challenges and ups and downs and jumpscares. Just like any other horror game, right?

Here’s the twist. Every time you lose a life, you respawn but with less time to escape. You have four lives, each with less and less time. If you do not manage to escape within these four lives you lose.

Currently I am still building the map. I have a couple mechanics already made, such as the inventory and pick-up/put-down item system. (I didn’t know what to call it lol)

Sound interesting. I like the idea how the previous person was aware that it as a game, really makes a connection with the game and the player.
