Church for ongoing project

Hi, I’ve been working on this church for my upcoming project and I just want some feedback/constructive criticism. I understand that the whole building is unfinished and I’ll add more detail to the front like windows, art, etc… But besides that, did I do anything odd/off, or something you would like for me to add?

Decent build, I’d suggest the following recommendations you could use however you like while the building looks good i’m assuming texture - colors will be added later down the line is that already planned out?

A better design in the church “decorative roof spire”. The current one does not fit well with the more realistic approach i’m assuming your going for. For finding a roof design try choosing different styles it could be the following steel, shingles, tiles. Image attached above something similar to that.

It needs more placements on the spire and the surrounding area. The grey-ish color scheme is planned out so my main focus isn’t on that.

I’d recommend experimenting with meshes and parts in order to accomplish a sorting roof design if your creating shingles you could either find a perfect texture that fits the theme or use parts and rotate them. Overall it’s good build hope to see the final placements - objects implemented on it.

Thank you for your feedback  ! I’ll be sure to experiment with meshes and fix my spire!

Looks great! A bit of a bland colour, though – I feel as though using the reference photo’s red brick would look a lot more grounded and realistic.

It looks amazing, maybe add different colour window stains, otherwise perfect!

Thank you! Sorry for late response :frowning: I’ll be sure to add a church like design on my stained glass windows.

Wow, this is extremely impressive. I really have nothing else to say.

Impressive! It sort of looks like the real thing. I’m assuming you’re not done with the spire, like what @jordonh23 said try adjusting the actual rooftop spire because it doesn’t look like the one in the photo, also assuming you are trying to achieve the details of that church.

For me, I like to do complex stuff on Fusion 360 (you can use Blender if you’d like) because I can go back and easily adjust things if needed.

Was this done entirely using CSG or did you use both meshes and unions?

Hello! Thanks for the feedback, I’m not experienced with Fusion 360 nor Blender… This project used unions only. Ill hopefully get the time to learn 3d modelling! ^^

Super impressive! it looks like a 3D model but i would recommend you to use parts only such as blocks/wedges without unions because unions gives problems like these two:
1.- performance problems in places/games.
2.- they usually gives problem as if united blocks have invisible limits.
I have nothing else to say. :+1:

brother all i gotta say is God is gonna be in that church because the looks be so good LOL
