I have seen several games on Roblox, including some of the most popular games like Theme Park Tycoon 2 using an X (formerly Twitter) handle to solicit game feedback, like this:
My question is, how is this not a violation of the Community Standards, specifically, this part:
I’m asking because my account was recently banned for doing something very similar (posting an email address with [my-roblox-username]@gmail.com)
I’m about to release a game.
I want to provide a channel for feedback on the game, bugs in particular.
In my beta release, I mistakenly thought using an email address built for this purpose and posting in the game would work well for this. Apparently this against the community standards, as I was informed.
I’m open to using X (Twitter) just as many other games seem to do but I can’t do that and have confidence that my account won’t get banned again given this seems in direct violation of at least one, possibly two sections of the Community Standards!
But, again, many games seem to be doing this without issue. So I’m confused.
Any clarification would be much appreciated.
