It appears that ClickDetectors can no longer be activated by being clicked through transparent and non-collideable objects. Whenever there’s any invisible parts in front of something that the player needs to click, it doesn’t work. This has just broken my game “Silent Dark” and probably some of my other games as well.
Someone probably wanted ClickDetectors to work with transparent/non-collideable parts (or something about that), but hopefully this could be something that can be switched on/off in some sort of way if that’s the case?
There was a change where clickdetectors now activate even if the part is both set to cancollide false and completely transparent.
There’s a fix where only transparent blocks with clickdetectors should intercept clicks coming out next release. This should maintain backwards comparability.
It looked like roblox updated a while ago but it appears this is still not fixed. Is the fix still coming? Just asking, because my other game is still totally broken due to this, and it’s been a while.
