I checked around and maybe I missed it but I couldn’t find anyone else who reported this bug so here goes.
Background:
I’m running Windows 10 Home edition (Version 1709, OS Build 16299.64) and I have a dual monitor setup with the monitors side by side.
Problem:
I like playing Phantom Forces occasionally but I can’t keep the mouse captured in the client, it keeps moving into the other monitor which means that when I try shoot and whatnot it doesn’t do anything because it’s clicking outside of the client (in the other monitor).
Notes:
I have already put the client into fullscreen so that it won’t interact with my taskbar so going fullscreen doesn’t fix the problem.
If you need anymore info or have a solution please let me know because I keep getting put off from playing games because of this.
Is there any word on whether this is being looked into because it’s extremely frustrating and I’d be happy to get what other info might be needed in order to solve this since it’s causing me to AVOID Roblox games because I can’t enjoy playing them with this bug.
This bug report is a bit too broad. I have no idea if you are doing anything specific to cause this to happen? Is this consistent? If so, is it just on Phantom Forces? I couldn’t get this to repro. Please provide more information so we can address this issue.
Thanks for the response, here’s a bit more detailed info about my setup and how I have everything set up, hopefully this helps:
Motherboard: Z270X-Gaming 7
CPU: Intel i7-7700K 4.20GHz Quad Core
GPU: Asus - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB Dual Video Card
Both my monitors are plugged into the GPU.
My taskbar is set to auto-hide and is positioned on the left side of the screen on my left monitor and on the bottom of my screen on the right monitor.
I normally have the client in full screen mode in my left monitor to prevent the mouse from interacting with the taskbar when I’m in first-person mode (It currently will not interact with the taskbar if in fullscreen mode with the taskbar on auto-hide on the left side of the screen under these circumstances). HOWEVER, if I move the client to being fullscreen in the right monitor, even if I’m in first-person mode in-game it will still interact with the taskbar that is on the bottom of the screen.
As far as I know there’s nothing specific that I’m doing since this appears to happen 100% of the time in any Roblox game for me
Unfortunately I can’t seem to get this to reproduce at all. I don’t have access to your exact configuration but I tried to clone the exact steps you had above and still nothing.
I will be unable to enter this in since I don’t have a reproduce-able case. If you or anyone else has this issue and can provide more information let me know.
