Client/Studio Display freeze, Roblox log has - 'D3D11 FATAL ERROR: Device removed with reason 887a0006'

Also happens with Roblox Studio (using standard Village game and automatic graphics mode) but not so consistent or so rapidly.
RobloxStudio using another graphics mode (directX9 or Vulkan) is OK.

Environment: ASUS VivoBook 14, Windows 10, DirectX
Intel(R) Core™ i3-7020U CPU @ 2.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.3GHz. 4Bg memory, Intel (R) HD Graphics 620.

To reproduce the fault:
Load and start any game, character appears and may run for a few seconds before the display is frozen.
The game is still working as sounds and keyboard can move the character to a ‘kill’ location and it will re-spawn - just no update to the display. The same Fatal error appears in the log each run, part reproduced below.

Roblox player was working until about a month ago so I looked for a hardware fault first.
The laptop memory has been tested with a bootable memtest86+, GPU/DirectX has been tested with GFXBench using directX9, 11, 12 and Vulkan engine.
I guess the performance was as expected on this device but I have no similar Windows laptop to compare with.
Other graphic applications like Blender seem to work fine. DxDiag reports that directX is working normally.
The laptop has been reset to the original windows 10 installation and then updated automatically by Microsoft to the latest release. Roblox is installed new nearly every day.

I have checked with ‘MyAsus’ and with Intel for later drivers with no luck. The Microsoft supplied (and updated) drivers must be what other users are running.

I tried to change the graphicsMode in settings (GlobalSettings_13.xml) to directX 9, 11, 12, VulKan and no graphics.
The display and the log file always looks the same suggesting that the graphics mode only affects Studio and not Player.

The settings change does work for Studio and it runs without error using directX9 or Vulkan but not in automatic (presumably directX11).

Can anyone suggest how to get more detailed logs to help determine the events before the fault?
Can anyone confirm the the latest Roblox player works on an ASUS Vivobook or similar?
Can anyone suggest how the graphics mode for the player (not Studio) can be changed to find a workaround?
Can anyone suggest how an earlier version of Roblox could be launched for a comparison?

More driver background information from dxdiag output, it reports no faults.

This has been reported before.

I don’t know any fixes for this, so it’s best you wait until an engineer responds.
