Client/Server Sided hitboxes | A rant about how I hate server sided only hitboxes

Server = lag compensation and verification
Client = Initial detection and umbrance to server

FOR GODS SAKE. Server only based hitboxes are incredibly bad for gameplay experiences

You can initially detect using a client sided hitbox and use magnitude/spatial query checks on the server to secure your hitbox system

I will spin the block on ANY dev that makes a server only hitbox system. I AM COMING FOR YOU AND ALL THAT YOU LOVE.

Hey! I just wanted to inform you that this isn’t really a community tutorial. If you want to make a tutorial, you could add instructions on how to make a client-sided hitbox for people to use.
